Abhishek Bachchan celebrate his 35th brithday: Abhishek Bachchan turns a year older today i.e. 5th February, 35 years to be exact and Junior Bachchan confesses to being in a happy phase with his family around him and a strong line-up of films to look forward to. The Bollywood actor is in New Zealand shooting for Abbas Mastan's Players along with co-stars Sonam Kapoor and Neil Nitin Mukesh where he is expected to be for the next one month.
Wife Aishwarya who could not accompany Abhishek for the outdoor shoot, did join him a few days earlier to ring in his birthday. If you thought this was a nice little surprise from Aishwarya to her
husband, you couldn't have been more wrong. "I like to be informed about her movements on a day-to-day basis. If she gets on a plane to NZ, I know about it even before she boards the flight." Abhishek asserted. Though he has wife Aishwarya for company, he candidly admits to missing his parents and family including sister Shweta, niece and nephew.
2010 didn't bring Junior Bachchan much commercial successes, 2011 is a very important year for him professionally as he has almost 6-7 films in his kitty, with a release in almost every alternate month. First up in April 2011 is Game, post which Abhishek will be seen in Dum Maro Dum, Bol Bachchan, Players, Ladies and Gentleman. Other films Dostana-2, Dhoom-3 and Department are likely to go on the floors towards the end of the year.
With Abhishek shooting miles away, there won't be any big celebrations in the Bachchan household, but that hasn't stopped the film fraternity from pouring in wishes to Jr.B via social networking site Twitter. "Thank you to my twitter crew!!!! You guys make this birthday extra special. Your love, blessings and faith are most important and dear to me" Abhishek responded earlier in the day in response to the hordes of tweets he got from his fans and well-wishers.
