Kangna Ranaut & Mallika Sherawat parcel frigid vibes

Kangna Ranaut & Mallika Sherawat parcel frigid vibes: Her recent films like Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam, Fauj Main Mauj and Hisss... may have been damp squibs at the box office, but that has not stopped Mallika Sherawat from throwing her weight around. After a couple of international ventures and making place for herself in Hollywood, Sherawat believes in having a high handed attitude. And Kangna Ranaut has been subjected to some unfriendly treatment by Mallika. The two actresses share screen space in Dhamaal 2. Our source said, “Mallika and Kangna kept their distance from each other from day one. On the sets, the two shared cold vibes. Yet, both actresses were thorough professionals. They did their shots and retreated to their respective vans."
At a recent press conference, Mallika Sherawat refused to share the dais with Malaika Arora Khan. The two are to perform at a New Year's eve bash. The organisers had to have two separate press conferences. During the shoot of the Akshay Kumar and Anil Kapoor starrer Welcome, Mallika and Katrina Kaif too shared cold vibes. This diva sure knows how not to get along with anyone.

Vidya Balan to mark Ekta Kapoor's ‘Ragini MMS’Vidya Balan to mark Ekta Kapoor's ‘Ragini MMS’: Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is all set to play lead in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming venture ‘Ragini MMS’, which is based on the infamous MMS scandal in a prestigious Delhi based school, Zee News reported. According to a report on spicezee.com, apparently, Kangna Ranaut had been approached by Ekta Kapoor to play the lead role. “When the former showed uneasiness on hearing the explicit content of the film, Kangna Ranaut chickened out at the last minute. However, Ekta Kapoor was quick to find Kangna’s replacement in Vidya Balan,” the website reported.

The report further revealed that while talking to a daily, a source confirmed the news and said, “Kangna walked out of the film, perhaps because she had developed cold feet about the movie. This is a bold movie and it needs an actress who can do justice to a strong portrayal. Vidya can deliver such intense roles with confidence. She is anyway doing ‘Dirty Picture’, based on the life of Silk Smitha, with Ekta, and her company felt that she`s appropriate for the role.

So, they`ve approached her.” When contacted, the CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures, said, “I don`t want to say anything at this stage. But the film is definitely on.” After playing the power-packed role of Sabrina Lal, sister of Jessica in ‘No One Killed Jessica’ and sex-siren Silk Smitha in ‘Dirty Picture’, it seems Vidya is keen on a serious image makeover and has become a hot favourite of Bollywood filmmakers, the website reported. daily times monitor

Anil Kapoor surpriseed by Tom Cruise's commitment

Anil Kapoor surpriseed by Tom Cruise's commitment: Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, fresh from filming Mission Impossible 4 with Tom Cruise, marvels at the Hollywood superstar's dedication and hard work. Kapoor, who plays an Indian in the action film, praised his famous co-star, saying, "Tom Cruise is very dedicated and hardworking. Some days he slept for just three hours. That is the kind of drive and dedication which makes you so successful. It (Hollywood) is like a Premier League," he said.

Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol is likely to hit theatres in December next year. The 50-year-old actor, who starred in Oscar-winning movie 'Slumdog Millionaire' and went on to play the president of a fictitious Islamic country in US TV show '24', said, "Working at the international arena is altogether a different experience."

Talking about his journey as an actor so far, Kapoor said, "I had the opportunity of working with (British filmmaker) Danny Boyle. I learnt a lot from him. They have a different way of working and different work culture. In addition, I also had the opportunity of working with some of the great Indian directors and co-stars," he said.

"You should be like a blotting paper and absorb whatever is good. It has been a wonderful journey and God has been kind to me," he added. Kapoor is currently focusing on his home production 'No Problem', a light-hearted comedy in which the actor himself stars as an inspector. Akshay Khanna and Sanjay Dutt play thieves while Paresh Rawal runs a bank. Suniel Shetty is a don in the film. "We have tried our best to make No Problem entertaining for every section in terms of its music, action, etc. I would say it's going to provide wholesome entertainment," said Kapoor.

"I think the most difficult thing is to make people laugh and that's precisely what this film is going to do," he added. The Anees Bazmee directed film, which also stars Sushmita Sen and Kangna Ranaut, is set to release on December 10.
