Justin Bieber gets affectionate with Selena Gomez

Maybe there is finally proof that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are not just friends as they have claimed for some time now.

The two teen stars were just spotted this weekend in Santa Monica, California clearly holding hands along the pier.Bieber and Gomez did not shy away from the cameras as they walked with their fingers intertwined.

The two have opened up about their good friendship, but this hand holding seems to be more than just friends.

Miley Cyrus has clearly moved on to her latest costar

There were rumors that Miley Cyrus may have started up something with her ‘So Undercover’ costar Josh Bowman and now pictures seem to confirm it.

Cyrus was recently spotted with Bowman in Los Angeles’ Griffith Park where they played with her pup. It was alleged that their relationship might be one that only existed while on set, but this picture seems to say otherwise.

In the picture, Bowman and Cyrus sit cozily together as he leans in to kiss her on the side of her head.

This Week In Movies By Pete Hammond – ‘The Roomate’

All things Super Bowl put a damper on Hollywood’s enthusiasm for releasing intriguing news films this weekend. So what we were stuck with ? A Single White Female ripoff called ‘The Roommate’ was so derivative its releasing studio couldn’t even bring itself to schedule an advance critics screening. Turns out it was a smart move since without poisonous reviews leaking before its Friday opening it turned out to be the number one movie in the country. The film managed only an 8% fresh rating at Rotten Tomatoes , about as low as number one openings can muster. Out of 33 reviews counted so far only 3 could even be kindly labeled as “mixed”. Too bad for Leighton Meester too. She was so good in Country Strong, her other current film which has a song nominated for an Oscar. The Roommate doesn’t have to worry about getting Oscar nominations next year but might be a good candidate for a Razzie. Meester plays a deranged girl who is, OF COURSE, obsessed with her new roommate. Oy. The audience who turned out was predictably girls, mostly under 21 and way to young to remember flicks like the aforementioned Single White Female but Single White Roommate would be a more honest title. Still never underestimate the lowbrow tastes of the American moviegoing public but I have to say the Packers/Steelers pre-game warmup had more thrills than this entire movie.

Oscars: Talking “The Fighter,” Christian Bale, Melissa Leo and the awards season with Jack McGee

“Oh geez, O’Connell and McGee? It sounds like a law firm that would be indicted and shut down within minutes.”

That’s how character actor Jack McGee kick started our phone interview on behalf of David O. Russell’s “The Fighter,” the Oscar-nominated drama that casts McGee as Mark Wahlberg’s father figure, George Ward.

McGee has enjoyed a lengthy career in Hollywood. He made his quiet debut as a bar patron in 1985’s “Turk 182!,” then went on to contribute to the “Lethal Weapon” franchise, Bill Murray’s “Scrooged,” “Basic Instinct,” “Backdraft” and the legendary “Showgirls.”

Television addicts might recognize McGee from his recurring roles on Denis Leary’s firefighter drama “Rescue Me,” though he also appeared on such popular programs as “Chicago Hope,” “NYPD Blue,” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” over the years.

“You know, if I thought for a minute that I could audition for the same role Natalie Portman played in ‘Black Swan,’ I’d try,” McGee said with a laugh. “But I was a firefighter in New York City for 10 years. I come from a background of blue-collar workers, and I identify with the working class quite a bit.”

Kelsey and Camille Grammer make a deal – wedding to come

It sounds like Kesley Grammer and soon-to-be ex-wife Camille Grammer have finally come to an agreement and will soon be divorced.

The two have reportedly settled matters and Kelsey will now be in the clear to get divorced and remarried, states TMZ. The lawyers for both reportedly told a judge that the former couple reached a deal that will allow for property and money matters to be settled at a later date.

However, Kelsey and Camille did not sign settlement papers, so the divorce cannot be granted until that is done, which will reportedly occur later this week. Once this is done, it will take about a week or two for it to be finalized.

‘Jersey Shore’s’ Snooki interviewing at the Grammys for MTV

The public apparently loves ‘Jersey Shore’ star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi as she will be hitting the red carpet for the 53rd annual Grammy Awards and doing interviews for MTV.

Snooki will team up with MTV’s Sway Calloway to ask all the stars what fans want to know, states MTV. The two will be live-streaming on MTV.com for two hours as they talk to all the presenters, nominees and stars.

This will be Snooki’s second time doing this as she covered the Grammys for MTV last year as well. But there will be one thing Snooki will change from last year: “I’m not gonna be like, ‘Yo, Kings of Leon, who are you?’ That’s what I did last year! So I’m definitely gonna study up more.”

Kim Kardashian spends beau’s birthday with his parents

Things between Kim Kardashian and New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries seem to be getting serious as she celebrated his birthday with him alongside his parents.

Kim reportedly took her boyfriend out to dinner with his parents at New York’s STK, states People. Kim has reportedly really hit it off with his parents and did so even more during the simple birthday dinner.

Beverly Hills Housewife Lisa Vanderpump says the cameras didn’t lie

“I think that when the cameras follow you for months that they really do get an accurate picture of who you are,” said Beverly Hills Housewife Lisa Vanderpump during Thursday’s continuation of the season one reunion episode. While her co-stars spent most of the two-part recap attempting to redeem themselves for bad behavior caught on film, Vanderpump was the sole voice claiming that the on-screen portrayals were fair.

Her commentary was not surprising—Vanderpump had long distinguished herself as a person of integrity, one possessing a self-awareness uncommon among reality show stars. Vanderpump singlehandedly transformed some of the most vicious “she said, she said” dramas of the season by gently coaxing her catty counterparts to fess up to what really happened.

Will Anne Hathaway be able to measure up as Catwoman

Catwoman is slated to surface in Christopher Nolan’s next Batman movie and she will be played by the “it girl” of the moment Anne Hathaway!
How big a star is Anne right now? HUGE! Not only is she co-hosting the Oscars next month with James Franco, but she also let it be known to ‘Glee’ creator Ryan Murphy that she’d like to play Kurt Hummel’s gay aunt on the show and it looks that that will happen.
Anne, who was terrific in last year’s ‘Love and Other Drugs’ opposite Jake Gyllenhaal, became a star nearly a decade ago in the ‘Princess Diaries’ movies and has since built an impressive body of work that includes an Oscar-nominated performance in ‘Rachel Getting Married’ as well

‘Housewives of Beverly Hills’ on feelings after the fight

Probably one of the most emotional and surprising fights in ‘Housewives’ history went down on the season finale of ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ and now one of the women involved in responding to the incident.
Kyle Richards got into it with her sister Kim Richards in a limo at Taylor Armstrong’s birthday party. The two exchanged serious words that apparently viewers weren’t meant to hear.
“The events that transpired that evening were quite unfortunate and should never have occurred on or off camera,” Kyle said about the fight getting out of control.

Kourtney Kardashian on getting her family to get along

Kourtney Kardashian has been very open about her struggle to get beau Scott Disick and the rest of her family to get along, and while things have been rough, they are apparently getting better.

Kourtney opened up to Jimmy Kimmel and revealed that she is happy they can all be in the same room now,“[I]f Scott knew Khloe was going to be there, he wouldn’t come, if Khloe knew Scott was going to be there, she wouldn’t come,” Kourtney says about how it used to be all the time.

But now, while Khloe and Scott aren’t best friends, at least they can be around each other: “They don’t speak, but they’re civil.”

Miley Cyrus defended by yet another costar, called “classy lady”

While the public seems to not think too highly of Miley Cyrus these days, all her costars are going to bat for her and defending her name.

Now, Thomas Jane, who plays her father in ‘LOL,’ is telling everyone just how great the young star is. “Don’t believe any of that bulls–t!” Jane first says about all the rumors out about Cyrus.

He then goes on to tell people what she really is like: “She’s a real classy lady. And that will be proven over the years. She’s a wonderful girl.”

‘Pretty Wild’s’ Alexis Neiers pleads not guilty in heroin matter

‘Pretty Wild’ star Alexis Neiers has pleaded not guilty in a matter where she was accused of being in possession of black tar heroin.
Neiers, who has already spent some time in jail for another matter, has been arraigned in this matter, states TMZ. The reality TV star reportedly pleaded not guilty to felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of a smoking device.
Now, she will reportedly be waiting until her next court date.

Are you a Melissa Leo Fan?

You can name the episodes these scenes are from. I thought it was a miracle back in 2008 when Melissa Leo became an Oscar nominee.

Now, two years later, she’s on the cusp of being an Oscar winner. As someone who believed that Homicide: Life of the Street died when she was forced off the show at the end of season five (‘not pretty enough’ and ‘reports of your ex-husband John Heard stalking you is making bad press for us’), this is a genuine piece of vindication.

Beyonce hints that she was a virgin when she met Jay-Z

Even though Beyonce has never really talked about virginity like some pop stars, it appears that she believed it was pretty important.
In a recent interview, Beyonce hints that she was a virgin when she met now-husband Jay-Z, states Hollyscoop (via MediaTakeOut.com). She admits to having one other boyfriend before Jay-Z, but claims that it was never anything serious.
“[W]e didn’t live together, we didn’t, you know…” Beyonce says about the only other experience she has had with a guy. She then reveals that Jay-Z was the next boyfriend after that guy.

Who Should Be Added to the Cast of a “RED” Sequel?

Collider is reporting that Summit Entertainment has hired Jon and Erich Hoeber to pen a sequel to their hit comic book adaptation Red. As you recall, the film opened to around $22 million in mid-October and stuck around seemingly forever, ending up with $90 million in domestic grosses and $164 million worldwide. In an age where every film seems targeted younger and younger, Red was a diamond in the rough, a spy-comedy that was all about the older generation. It was, at its core, an action comedy/romantic caper starring Bruce Willis and Mary Louise-Parker, but it had scene-stealing supporting turns for Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Brian Cox, Morgan Freeman, Richard Dreyfuss, and Earnest Borgnine. It’s easily the studio’s biggest hit outside

‘Jersey Shore’ girls start filming spin-off pilot?

It seems that it is finally time for Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “JWOWW” Farley to move onto a show of their own.

The two ‘Jersey Shore’ girls are reportedly going to start filming the pilot episode of their very own spin-off, states TMZ. Snooki and JWOWW will allegedly be filming in Long Island with no exact premise, just the girls living their lives.

The really interesting thing about this shoot is that MTV would even want a pilot episode considering ‘Jersey Shore’ continues to bring in ratings and these girls are everywhere in the public.

Super Bowl movie spots include “Thor,” “Transformers” and “Pirates 4″

You might not think this, but Super Bowl Sunday is like Film Geek Christmas. On this day, spread throughout a full day of NFL football, Cinema Santa unwraps our first looks at so many of the major blockbusters we will be writing and talking about all year. Long before the Internet housed leaked set footage and early trailer peeks, passionate movie fans flocied to the TV set on Super Bowl Sunday not to watch the game, but to see what trailers would run during the commercial breaks.
So what clips will we see this year?

Well, ComingSoon does a nice breakdown, creating a Super Bowl Sunday timeline based on information provided by The Hollywood Reporter. It looks like “Thor” and “Captain America” will have spots. So will Michael Bay’s third “Transformers” and the fourth “Pirates of the Caribbean.” Universal will unveil a “Cowboys & Aliens” tease, while families can look forward to “Kung Fu Panda 2” and “Rango” commercials.
