Akshay's partner in crime is Katrina who plays Anya, a wannabe actress, who sizzles on screen with 'Sheila Ki Jawaani', which has already become a chartbuster.

He reasons, “The punchline is the most important part of the song and it’s too early to give that away now. It’s also going to be an important part of our promotional strategies.”

Currently, the producer is discussing another highlight song sequence of Ready with Bazmee and the team. “We’ll be building another grand set for that too because that’s the second larger than life number of our movie,” he asserts.

A simple scene for the film’ Ready’ turned out to be a nightmare for lead actors Asin and Salman Khan. The scene involved Asin lost in a jungle and scampering up a tree with Khan following suit. The tree was pretty massive and Asin decided to climb the tree herself.

Though everybody found it dangerous and unsafe, but finally every person agreed and a harness was attached and she was lowered on to the tree. Salman Khan followed the suit, but to their horror the shoot went on for 3 long days.
