Vivek Oberoi refuses to promote alcohol

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi looks to be influenced by Sachin Tendulkar. While the cricketer rejected Rs.20 crore to promote a alcohol brand, the actor refused an endorsement agreement offered him Rs.3 crore a year. A source close to VO says, “Vivek is very clear that he does not desire to be connected with any liquor or smoking brand.
Vivek Oberoi does not want to advertise vices that will injury the health of his young fans. Company not too long ago
asked him to be their brand ambassador as they felt he links to the youth in a big way. He instantly said no.”But the brand in question rejected to take no for an answer.The source says, “The company returned and doubled the money to over Rs.6 crore but the actor just wasn’t interested.
VO would never spoil his image and is very careful about the brands he promotes. Also, he’s a big fan of Sachin Tendulkar and was influenced by his example.”
